Q. Are the contact lenses used by 9mm Special Effects FDA approved?
A. Yes, the contact lenses used by 9mm are approved by the FDA.

Q. Do you ship outside the United States?
A. Yes, we ship worldwide.

Q. How much is shipping?
A. We ship by Fed Ex 2nd day ($20), 3 day ($17), International Priority ($55 except Canada is $47)

Q. What's the difference between your theatrical contact lenses and others?
A. Our theatrical contact lenses are individually hand painted by the leading artist in the industry. We use high quality soft lenses that are very comfortable to wear. Others are merely stamped by a machine or imported from outside the country. 
 

Q. How long after I place my order will the lenses ship?
A. Orders will ship in a minimum of 5 to 10 business days. Prescription lenses may take longer. Keep in mind that all of our lenses are custom, and are made to order. You will be e-mailed a tracking number once your order ships.

Q. Does the price include lenses with a prescription?
A. Yes, the price includes lenses with or without prescriptions. There may however be additional charges for torics and very high/low prescriptions (+ or - 10.00 or greater).

Q. Can I order lenses without a corrective prescription?
A. Yes, you can order lenses with a plano prescription. You still need to have a contact lens prescription for non-corrective lenses.

Q. How do I find out my base curve and diameter?

A. The only way to get your base curve and diameter is from a contact lens exam. Incorrect base curve and diameter will cause the lenses to not fit properly.

Q. What about custom designs?
A. Our artist can custom design just about anything that you can imagine. E-mail us your image and we can give you a quote. 

Q. How long will theatrical contact lenses last?
A. Your theatrical contact lenses can last  several years as long as you take proper care of them.

Q. What solutions should I use to clean my theatrical contact lenses?
A. We suggest using Aosept, Opti One or Opti Free

Q. Can you see out of the Blind Eye, Dead Eye or Stitches (no Vision) lenses?
A. No, if we cover the pupil you will not be able to see.

Q. If I want minor changes done to my lenses after they arrive can they be adjusted?

A. Yes, we can make some minor changes to the lenses at no additional costs, we do ask that you cover shipping charges.

Q. Do you have the lenses worn by Vin Diesel in Chronicles of Riddick?
